The popularity of ‘Transformers‘ still has not died and Toshiba aims to capitalize on that with the introduction of their new 3G phone. The unique device is scheduled to drop on the Jap market around April and will be called the SoftBank 815T PB. The phone was specifically built for the Japanese network Softbank and will appeal to all the tech geeks out there who would love a little robot phone standing on their desk, so all the other staff members can walk past and go “Wow“.

The phone comes with a lot of cheesy stuff like robot faces and sounds, to really give it that authentic Optimus Prime feel. On a technical note, the phone comes with dimensions of 50×102x16m, a QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera and can be purchased in either silver of black.
Here comes the kicker folks! This Megatron-of-a-phone also comes with a ’semi-intelligent’ avatar that apparently learns how to respond to it’s user over time. Talk about creepy! The Toshiba boys have been watching ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ way too much!
