Moments after Mobgizmo announced the sexy Blackberry Bold we uncovered RIM’s new Blackberry Thunder! The Thunder, or Blackberry 9500, looks to have the same curvy outer shell as the Bold, but instead has a large touch screen and only 4 physical buttons (send, end, menu and back). The “9500″ will come exclusively to Verizon and Vodafone in a lifetime deal that should make Apple shiver in their white glossy boots!

The Thunder has also been described as a high-end device with two-modes that would support both CDMA and GSM phone services in equal measure, including very advanced data access; it would support not just HSPA on 3G networks but a future 4G service, which is speculated to be the Long Term Evolution (LTE) format being chosen by most cellular providers. However, LTE won’t be in action will 2009, so don’t hold your breath!
I’ve gone ahead and selected the perfect promotional mascot for the Blackberry Thunder; RIM can credit me later!

Meanwhile, the CGI-animated Thundercats movie has been slated for 2010…excited much?
