Hot Ringtone of the Month :: Lil’ Wayne & Static Major - Lollipop
It has to be Lollipop, by Lil’ Wayne & Static Major. I’ve been listening to this track for a long time now and love that it’s finally reached number #1 on the Billboard charts. Although some might say Lil’ Wayne is ripping off T-Pain with the strong use of a vocoder, I disagree. Weezy brings his own unique style to the track and has also acknowledged his harder fans by letting them know that this track was designed for the ladies. It’s also worth nothing that Static Major sadly passed away recently, so this track is dedicated to him.
Lollipop works as a ringtone because it’s simple, catchy and easily recognisable to anyone in the room. Even people who don’t know the song will be reciting the way Wayne says Lollipop in no time. The track is also featured heavily in the charts and features a wicked video that is getting flogged on MTV. If you want a cool ringtone to impress your friends, then have a lick of this lollipop.

It’s the kind of song people try and sing by making sounds with their mouth. The best part about the Indiana Jones ringtone is that it has the unique ability of being allowed, wherever you are. It doesn’t matter if you are in a meeting or a movie theatre, if your phone goes off and it’s playing Indiana Jones, everyone will forgive you instantly. It’s just that good!

Random Ringtone of the Month :: Metro Station - Shake It
This hot new track from Metro Station is almost too cool for school. The jumpy ‘Shake It’ chorus stands out and will have you singing, without even realising it. The great thing about this ringtone is it’s adaptability to all age groups. Everyone I know seems to love this song and the ringtone too! It’s the kind of ringtone you can’t go wrong with. If you are looking for a sure fire hit that will probably stay on your phone for a few months, then check out Metro Station.
Annoying Ringtone of the Month :: Soulja Boy - Yahhh
This ringtone was cool for about 1 week and it was lucky to last that long. Not that I have anything against Soulja Boy, it’s just the worst chorus I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I listened to it once or twice and that was enough. I hope my eardrums never have to endure this ringtone ever again!
