UK-based mobile gambling experts Probability has just announced that their net gaming revenues for the first quarter soared up a whopping 7.6 per cent to a healthy $2.5 million against the fourth quarter. Probability seem to be going from strength to strength, with the revelation that their customer acquisition rate also rose by 19 per cent.
“While others may be suffering from the economic climate and changes to regulations in other areas, our presence in the mobile gambling market gives us many advantages that make us confident of achieving our near and medium-term growth plans,” said Charles Cohen, Chief Executive Officer for Probability.
The link between mobile and gambling seems to be getting stronger and stronger, with many mobile content providers offering their customers gambling related mobile content like various Casino Games and even Pokie Ringtones (Poker Machine Ringtones or Slots).
Personally I’m keen to see a mobile poker machine that runs like an application and works by spending my mobile phone credit and allows me to win back even more credit. The carriers should get involved in Australia and roll this out ASAP! If they do though, don’t forget where you heard it first.
